For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.
The name of the Lord is a strong tower; the righteous run into it and are safe.
Now I urge you to take some food. You need it to survive. Not one of you will lose a single hair from his head.
He said, “If you listen carefully to the Lord your God and do what is right in his eyes, if you pay attention to his commands and keep all his decrees, I will not bring on you any of the diseases I brought on the Egyptians, for I am the Lord, who heals you.”
It’s been a while since I actually wrote a post to you, but today I wanted to ask for your prayers. My grandfather was taken into the hospital last week, but was moved to the intensive care unit yesterday after he deteriorated very quickly overnight. He’s slowly on the mend but he’s still very ill, so if you wouldn’t mind, please remember him in your prayers, because as the Bible teaches us “Faith without deeds is useless” (~James 2:20)
I’ll update you when I can.
Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,
The prospect of the righteous is joy, but the hopes of the wicked come to nothing.
Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.
My soul is crushed with longing After Your ordinances at all times.
